Dr. Ambedkar’s life was a relentless struggle against injustice and oppression. He devoted whole of his life to eradicate caste based discrimination. His birthday is a reminder to us about his sacrifice to improve the conditions of the oppressed. His ideals are as much relevant today as they were in his own life time. To fulfill his dream of casteless society would be a befitting tribute to him. To further this objective, there will be a Presentation on the Equality Act and efforts to include Caste based discrimination in the British Law. Screening of a short film on caste discrimination in Indian educational Institutes and its impact on students. Missionary songs, poetry and speeches, on the life & works of Babasaheb Dr. Ambedkar.

DR. AMBEDKAR'S 120TH BIRTH DAY CELEBRATION Dear Editor, Dr. Ambedkar Mission Society, Bedford, Sri Guru Ravidas Sabha, Bedford and Bhagwan Valmik Sabha, Bedford have jointly arranged a function to celebrate Babasahib Dr. Ambedkar’s birth anniversary. We are trying to bring all our communities together on one platform to take the caravan forward started by our forefathers. To work towards unity will be a befitting tribute to Babasahib Dr. Ambedkar. Please come along to participate in this very important function.
